Preparation Phase

To generate maximum force I need to contract as many segments as possible. I know I am contracting segments in my preparation phase because my lower body muscles are working. Due to my knees being bent therefore my larger muscles are contracting first. Therefore in following the principle of sequencing contract you larger muscles first.

In the preparation phase, I am contracting my lower body muscles. This means that I am using my Hips, Knees and Ankle joints in this phase. I am contracting the hip joint that is called the ball and socket joint and I can see my hip flexed, therefore, my agonist muscle that contracts are my quadriceps. My antagonist which is my relaxing muscle is my gluteus maximus. Also, my ankle joint is working and is called a hinge joint I can see my ankle in a dorsiflexion position, therefore my agonist muscle that working in my tibialis anterior. And my antagonist that is relaxing is the Gastrocnemius. The differences I can see in my joints and the ideal are he is flexing more and contracting more force.

In the preparation phase I am using Newton's Laws. The Newton's law that I am using in this phase is his 1st Law. Newton's 1st Law states A body continues in its state of rest or uniform motion unless an unbalanced force acts upon it. I am using Newton's 1st law by contracting my lower larger muscle in the preparation phase.

In the preparation phase, balance and stability are important when performing a sporting movement.
The line of Gravity is defined as The vertical line that passes through the center of gravity to the ground To be stable the line of gravity must fall within our base of support. The base of support is defined as This is the area that is in contact with the ground. The larger the contact area with the ground the greater the stability. I can see my line of gravity starts from my head and goes through my legs to the floor. Also, I can I am stable because I have two feet on the floor and a good base of support. The similarities I can see in my balance and stability compared to the ideal is both my feet is in the same position.

Log 6- Jedi Dodgeball

Last day of term one I played a game called Jedi Dodgeball that involved me showing cooperation also making me team get a victory in Jedi Dodgeball.
Last day of term one I showed  cooperation  in the game even outside
of the game meaning that when I am always outside of the game I always
Cooperate with my teammates very well that got me excellence in the
called Jedi Dodgeball one thing that I always use to Cooperate very well
with is saying ‘’ mark some and protect our Jedi that brings back our teammate back up from getting
hit from the opponents.
By letting my teammates know where to stand it had a
positive impact on my team because they knew where to defend and stop the opposition.

Log 5- Multisports 2

Yesterday Thursday I led a game called muti sports by myself and I showed
Supporting and Encouraging Others.

Yesterday Thursday I showed Supporting and Encouraging others by encouraging them to get involved in a game I led by telling them to keep going. Also, I gave them feedback on how to mark an opposition player.

Yesterday Thursday I demonstrated Supporting and Encouraging Others. That Increased enjoyment of the game and improved success of my classmate participation.

Log 4- Multisports

Last Thursday I played a game called multi-sports and I demonstrated the interpersonal skill
cooperation.

I demonstrated cooperation by helping my team and leading them where to stand.
I always get them to mark someone so they don't give them a gap to run in.
This meant we can stop another team from scoring.

By demonstrating cooperation meant my team had shared an understanding of what the goal is and the plan to reach it.

Log 3- Kickball

Last Thursday I played kickball that involved Effective Communication that made me
the team winning the game.

Last Thursday I demonstrated Effective Communication by telling my team what to do.
I told them to watch the opposition and stop them from getting to the safe zone. For example,
‘’ watch that player don't let them come to the safe zone.”

By communicating this way it had a positive impact on my team because to let them know what to do so it could help us win everytime we play as a team.

Log 2- Obstacle Course

Last Thursday I played a game that involves Effective Communication that made
my partner successful.

Last Thursday I demonstrated Effective Communication while doing the obstacle course.
During the obstacle course, I had to explain to my partner were to walk while going through an obstacle course. For example, I told my partner to ‘’ lift leg up and walk straight or to your left.”

Finally, demonstrating Effective Communication  helps my partner because me and
him got to the end first and it helped him get over the obstacle course easily.

Log 1- Fastball

Last Thursday I played fastball and I showed in the interpersonal skill cooperation.

I demonstrated cooperation by playing fastball. I used it by placing my teammates around the court and communicating with them throughout the game. I always say
‘’stand there and mark someone that is trying to get over our side.”

By letting my teammates know where to stand has a positive impact on my
team because it helps them know where to go and who to mark.
